It happened in the year 1982. I was a second year BSc Zoology major student. We used to have practical classes late night. Most of the practical classes include dissection of insects. There was an isolated section in our college, situated near the zoology department. During the late practical sessions, the rooms usually remained dark. One of the rooms had a human skeleton, probably required for the study of human anatomy. The room also had stacks of books, covered in dust. There was an old broken table and a wooden chair. Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park: the place for nature lovers

Kaziranga National Park is one of the most visited national parks in India. It is located in the Golaghat and Nagaon district of Assam. Kaziranga National Park is a world heritage site and is home to many endangered species, including the famous One-Horned Rhinoceros. Recently, Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park was established at Durgapur village, situated around the National Park. The orchid and Biodiversity Park is one of a kind, possessing more than 600 species of orchids from various regions of North East India, 132 species of sour fruits and leafy vegetables, 12 species of canes and 46 species of bamboo.
